Logistics Head

As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the complete inbound and outbound logistics process. This includes managing the outgoing material in outbound logistics and the incoming material in inbound logistics. You will also be required to maintain close coordination with other functional departments and create policies and procedures for logistics activities. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing and managing the necessary documentation - Ensuring carrier compliance with company policies and procedures for product transit or delivery - Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs - Generating MIS reports - Selecting, sourcing, and arranging the optimum mode of transportation based on requirements - Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries (for roadways) - Managing the supply chain for the distribution of goods to customers to achieve targets within specified parameters - Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information system - Overseeing the complete insurance process of goods in transportation - Maintaining necessary health and safety standards throughout the logistics process - Establishing effective liaison with suppliers and engaging in frequent interactions with them - Conducting site visits on a frequent basis, including visits to factories during crises, delivery points for customers, and accident sites if required - Reviewing the service quality and pricing of existing carriers and brokers - Working on new vendor development and conducting their rating on a frequent basis This full-time position requires you to work in person.,
