Job Description

The Logistics Executive will handle logistics and supply chain operations related to the movement of solar structures, modules, and raw materials. The role focuses on timely dispatch, efficient transportation coordination, documentation, inventory accuracy, and compliance with solar industry-specific norms and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily dispatches of solar mounting structures, modules, and accessories.
Coordinate with transporters for timely vehicle arrangements based on delivery schedules.
Prepare and maintain logistics documents like E-way bills, LR copies, delivery challans, GRNs, and invoices.
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery at project sites or customer locations.
Coordinate with site teams for unloading, receiving acknowledgment, and collecting POD (Proof of Delivery).
Maintain accurate records of inward/outward material movement with store/warehouse coordination.
Optimize transportation routes and freight costs while ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Manage reverse logistics for rejected or defective material returns.
Ensure logistics operations follow safety norms, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and share delivery and logistics status reports regularly with management.

Qualifications

Graduate in any stream (preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, or Commerce).
Certification in logistics or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
6 months to 4 years of experience in logistics, preferably in solar, electrical, or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of logistics documentation and government transport compliance.
Good communication and coordination skills with field teams and vendors.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet delivery timelines.
Familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus.
