· Arrange and coordinate material pickup with freight forwarders.
· Monitor shipments to ensure timely and safe delivery.
· Coordinate and oversee end-to-end logistics operations by maintaining appropriate records and files.
· Communicate regularly with suppliers to confirm material readiness.
· Collect invoices, packing lists, and relevant shipping documents from suppliers.
· Stay updated with regulations and documentation requirements related to shipping and logistics
· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
· Track purchase orders from various business units and monitor order status to ensure timely supplier dispatch.
· Follow up with suppliers at each stage of the sourcing and manufacturing process.
· Follow up on enquiries sent to suppliers for getting quotes and maintain the status of enquiries.
· Visit suppliers in case of production delays to expedite delivery.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the supply chain.
· Minimum 4-8 Years experience in Logistics and sourcing co-ordinator role
· Knowledge on shipping and logistics process and related documentation work. Preferably from Electrical heavy machinery industry.
· Good Communication skills in English & Hindi.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
