Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview: You will be joining our freight forwarding team as a Logistics Executive, where you will play a vital role in coordinating import/export shipments across various modes of transport. This is an ideal opportunity for freshers who are detail-oriented and enthusiastic about starting a career in logistics and supply chain management. In addition to handling operations, you will also assist the pricing team by preparing competitive freight quotes for our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate import/export shipments via air, sea, and road freight. - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of shipping and customs documentation. - Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and agents to ensure smooth cargo movement. - Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients. - Support the pricing team in preparing freight quotations for customers. - Collect and compare rates from carriers, shipping lines, and transport vendors. - Update rate sheets and maintain pricing records for internal reference. - Handle basic customer queries and assist the operations and pricing team in daily tasks. - Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and documentation according to company standards. - Learn and adhere to international trade regulations, pricing strategies, and logistics procedures. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field (preferred). - Fresh graduates are welcome, and no prior experience is required. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Good analytical ability with attention to detail. - Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Eagerness to learn about freight forwarding, pricing, and supply chain processes.
