Logistics and Procurement Officer

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and vendor management. You will need to identify and evaluate reliable suppliers, maintain records of suppliers, pricing, and terms, and coordinate logistics operations such as inbound and outbound shipments, freight booking, and delivery tracking. Your role will involve ensuring timely and accurate procurement of materials, equipment, and services based on internal requests. Additionally, you will monitor inventory levels, support stock control activities, prepare purchase orders, delivery schedules, and procurement documentation, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and vendor management - Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers; maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and terms - Coordinate logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, freight booking, and delivery tracking - Ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials, equipment, and services based on internal requests - Monitor inventory levels and support stock control activities - Prepare purchase orders, delivery schedules, and procurement documentation - Collaborate with internal departments (finance, operations, warehouse) to ensure alignment - Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations - Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery - Resolve supply chain or logistical issues promptly and professionally Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management - Knowledge of procurement and logistics best practices, local/international sourcing - Proficient in MS Office and procurement/logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP) - Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred,
