Job Description

Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and products to clients or production sites.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on logistics performance.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Lead and mentor logistics team members, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in logistics management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (ERP systems, WMS, or TMS preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
