Job Description

The Loan Servicing Manager - Associate plays a crucial role in the Loans group, responsible for delivering on specific tasks and ensuring operational excellence. You will monitor the team daily to ensure all SLAs are met and escalate exceptions immediately for resolution. Additionally, you will supervise processes like Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, and Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation. It is essential to ensure adherence to QUALITY & QUANTITY SLAs and maintain a robust workflow allocation model. You will serve as the subject matter expert, handling complex process-related queries and routing them to onshore teams if needed. Implementing a robust Knowledge Management model, including SOP maintenance and training, is also a key responsibility. Moreover, you will drive 100% compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls. Motivating and supporting team members to meet goals, identifying High-Potential Employees (HIPOs), and planning for their development are crucial aspects of this role. It is important to identify alternatives and options for issues, seeking alternative scenarios, and working successfully with others, valuing diverse skills and building interdependence. Identifying training needs to improve performance and ensure compliance with training timelines is an essential part of the role, along with ensuring high team depth with trained backups for critical work queues. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant loan servicing experience in syndicated loans or back office/financial industry roles. It is necessary to have knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ and possess knowledge of nostro/cash matching, General Ledger reconciliation, and SWIFT and remittance systems. Demonstrating strong problem-solving and investigative skills to analyze and resolve process-related issues is crucial, along with maintaining a strong risk and control mindset. Understanding investment banking products, including loans, and driving small to medium-sized projects, achieving strong results are also required qualifications for this role. Preferred qualifications for this position include the ability to influence and lead conversations with stakeholders effectively. Demonstrating executive presence by summarizing, recommending, and presenting issues and solutions to senior management and executive leadership is highly valued. Developing domain learning and exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively, are also preferred capabilities. Understanding the product lifecycle and area product management thoroughly is an important aspect of this role.,
