LMS Application Developer

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customizations and new features within our Loan Management Systems (LMS), including platforms like Pennant, FinnOne, OmniFin, or OpenLMS.
• Work on the entire loan lifecycle, from application processing and credit decisions to loan servicing and collections.
• Integrate LMS platforms with internal and external systems, including core banking, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Java, .NET, or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 - 8 years of professional experience in application development within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) industry.
• Proven, hands-on experience with at least one major Loan Management System (LMS) platform like Pennant, FinnOne Neo, OmniFin, or OpenLMS.
• Strong proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages : Java, .NET, or Python.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and strong skills in SQL with platforms like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Familiarity with development tools and technologies such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
