Linux Server Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Linux-based operating systems such as CentOS, Ubuntu, and other major distributions.
• Perform SSL certificate installation, configuration, and renewal.
• Handle DNS management, including zone creation and troubleshooting propagation issues.
• Manage cPanel/WHM servers with strong knowledge of web hosting environments.
• Execute server migrations with minimal downtime and seamless transitions.
• Troubleshoot server issues such as errors, performance bottlenecks, and high-load scenarios.
• Configure and maintain SMTP servers to ensure email deliverability and performance.
• Implement and manage firewall rules including iptables, CSF, UFW, and cloud-level firewalls.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize LEMP/LAMP stack environments.
• Perform server hardening, security auditing, and overall server optimization.
• Conduct malware scans, identify vulnerabilities, and troubleshoot compromised environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Linux server administration.
• Hands-on experience with cPanel/WHM.
• In-depth knowledge of web hosting technologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with server monitoring tools and log analysis.
• Ability to diagnose, resolve, and prevent server-related issues.
• Experience with security tools, firewall configurations, and hardening techniques.
• Strong understanding of SMTP, DNS, SSL, and web server configurations.
• Ability to work under pressure in high-load environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
