Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar distributions).
Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations.
Monitor system logs and identify potential issues proactively.
Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues related to Linux systems.
Work with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V).
Support in automation using shell scripting (Bash/Python).
Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and application teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–3 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration.
Strong knowledge of
RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu
operating systems.
Experience with
system monitoring tools
(Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).
Knowledge of
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NFS, FTP, SSH, and firewall configurations
.
Good understanding of virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).
Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is an added advantage.
Experience in writing
shell scripts
for automation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or similar certification is a plus.
