Job Description

As a Diploma holder in Mechanical/Production, you will be responsible for planning and managing a team of 45-50 workmen and 5-6 supervisors in the weld body shop. Your key duties will involve process improvement to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Additionally, you will be in charge of administrative control, manpower management, training, and skill enhancement for the team. You will be required to focus on achieving production and quality targets, as well as implementing strategies for loss recovery. Hands-on experience with line operations, part loading sequences, and line data management will be crucial for efficiency analysis and continuous improvement through methods like Kaizen. Training new supervisors and workmen, defect analysis, and implementing safety, production, and quality cost targets will also be part of your role. On the technical side, you should possess a deep understanding of welding jigs, safety checks, and quality control procedures. Knowledge of spot welding processes, robot teaching, and programming (specifically Fanuc and Kawasaki robots) is essential. Understanding prevailing quality systems to maintain weld body quality, analyzing body accuracy, and ensuring body fit and finish are also key technical requirements. Your role will involve optimizing consumables consumption, detailed knowledge of Door line and white body line processes, hemming techniques, and sealer application. Team building skills, customer-oriented attitude, target and customer orientation, analytical skills, excellent communication, presentation, flexibility, and networking skills are also expected from you. In summary, this role requires a hands-on individual with a strong technical background in welding processes, robot programming, quality control, and production management, coupled with excellent behavioral skills such as target and customer orientation, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities.,
