Job Title: Commie III Department: Kitchen / Culinary Reports To: Head chef Location: [Caterspoint , Farm No - 7, Club Drive Road, near Metro Station, Gadaipur, Ghitorni, New Delhi, Delhi 110030] Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Commis III is an entry-level kitchen position responsible for assisting in basic food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene. This role supports senior kitchen staff in producing high-quality dishes and plays a vital part in the smooth running of the kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in basic food preparation tasks (cutting, peeling, washing vegetables, etc.) under the supervision of chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed. Support the kitchen brigade in day-to-day operations, including setting up workstations and kitchen equipment. Follow kitchen procedures and recipes accurately as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef. Properly store food items in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Assist in receiving and stocking supplies as needed. Handle equipment and kitchen tools carefully and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. Follow portion control and waste management procedures. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is a plus. Minimum 0–6 months of experience in a professional kitchen setting. Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene standards. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Career Path: Potential for advancement to Commis II, Commis I, and eventually to Demi Chef de Partie with performance, experience, and training.
