Legal Officer

NVT Group is seeking applications from Bangalore-based legal professionals to join our team. The selected candidate will work on real estate transactions, corporate compliances, and governance. The role involves conducting legal due diligence, drafting and executing legal documents, coordinating with external counsel, and managing legal matters for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preliminary legal due diligence for land/property acquisitions, including gathering title documents, encumbrance searches, mutation records and basic verification of ownership.
• Conducting detailed title verification and flagging obvious defects or gaps in documentation for further review.
• Draft legal documents such as sale agreements, title transfer deeds, lease deeds, license agreements, and other related documents.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, vendors, registrars and other stakeholders to coordinate document exchange and follow-ups.
• Provide administrative and drafting support in any litigation, recovery or compliance matters as required, under guidance
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, maintain confidentiality and assist in improving standard templates and checklists.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Law degree with a solid foundation in legal principles across disciplines.
• Minimum 24 years of experience, with proven expertise in real estate law.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to provide practical and legally sound advice.
• Fluency in Kannada (reading and writing) is mandatory.
• Candidates must be based in Bangalore, preferably near Whitefield.
