Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and represent the organization’s cases in court or relevant departments, ensuring accurate representation and legal compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive briefings to advocates, attend courts and departmental hearings, and support in the management of legal proceedings.
  • Draft, review, and revise agreements, contracts, legal notices, and other documentation, ensuring they meet legal standards and are compliant with applicable laws.
  • Monitor and oversee all legal and compliance matters within the organization, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and legal frameworks.
  • Handle all correspondence and communications relating to legal matters, including preparing reports and responding to inquiries as needed.
  • Assist with office-related work such as maintaining legal files, scheduling meetings, and providing general administrative support to the legal team.
  • Handling all licences required for the Company

Experience: Minimum 10-12 years

Minimum Qualifications: A law degree (LLB) from a recognized university.

Certifications (Optional but Preferred): Additional certifications in compliance, contract management, or related legal fields will be an asset.

Additional Experience (Preferred): Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm specializing in litigation or compliance will be advantageous

Skills:

Legal Knowledge: A strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in corporate law, contract law, litigation, and compliance.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for drafting legal documents, corresponding with clients, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Organization & Time Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a diverse range of tasks and meet deadlines.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in reviewing legal documents, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email management systems, with an ability to use legal software for document management.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide actionable solutions, demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgment.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with senior management, external legal teams, and clients.

Professionalism:

Ability to handle sensitive legal information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Strong ethical standards, with a commitment to honesty, integrity, and fairness in all professional dealings.

Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner, focusing on the best interests of the business while adhering to legal guidelines.

Ability to adapt to changing legal environments, new regulations, and evolving case needs.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage high-priority tasks with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
