Job Description

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Law (LL. B) from a reputed institute/university.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
Prior experience in the NBFC/Banking sector with a focus on collection recovery is mandatory.

Key Skills:

In-depth knowledge of recovery laws including Section 138 of the NI Act, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, and related legislation.
Proficiency in drafting legal documents, complaints, and petitions.
Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
Capability to effectively coordinate with courts, police, and enforcement agencies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Undertake field visits for debt recovery from defaulting customers and maintain updated MIS reports.
Represent the company in court proceedings across the state.
Draft and file criminal complaints, including those under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.
Manage arbitration proceedings by filing petitions under Sections 9 and 17 and oversee execution matters.
Coordinate and participate in Lok Adalat hearings and conciliation camps.
Liaise with law enforcement agencies for the execution of summons, warrants, and other enforcement actions.
