Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of civil & criminal litigation cases from inception to resolution.
Draft, review, and file pleadings, replies, petitions, affidavits, and other legal documents.
Handle court proceedings and liaise with external counsel for effective case representation.
Review and analyze incoming legal notices; draft precise and comprehensive responses.
Manage cases relating to civil disputes, criminal matters, arbitration, and defamation.
Conduct legal research and provide advice on case strategies, risks, and outcomes.
Develop and implement litigation strategies to protect the company s legal rights.
Represent the company before courts, tribunals, regulatory bodies, and police authorities.
Handle matters related to defamation (print, digital, and broadcast) to safeguard brand reputation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure compliance and timely resolution of disputes.
Travel as required for litigation-related matters.
Bachelor s degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputed institution; LLM preferred.
1 5 years of proven experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and arbitration.
Strong knowledge of civil, criminal, and defamation laws in India.
Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment industry will be an added advantage.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under strict deadlines.
