Role Overview:

We are looking for a Legal Associate (Fresher) to handle legal matters for a single corporate client, focusing on property, criminal, and civil law in Thane and Mumbai. This is a great opportunity for fresh law graduates to gain real-world legal experience while earning and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Work closely on legal matters for a single corporate client, reporting regularly to senior lawyers.
• Government Liaison: Coordinate with government agencies and police to ensure smooth legal processes.
• Document Drafting: Draft and review legal documents ensuring compliance in both Marathi and English.
• Collaboration & Research: Work with senior lawyers on legal strategies and conduct legal research.
• Filing: filing of court documents, compliances, RTI etc.
• Track the matters and update of stages
• Prepare reports on case progress and legal findings for senior lawyers and the client.
• Assist and handle real estate transactions, property disputes, and documentation. Draft legal documents in Marathi and English.
• Assist in criminal cases by preparing briefs, drafting documents, and coordinating with police authorities.
• Support civil litigation, including contract disputes and tort claims. Draft pleadings and legal notices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized law school.
• Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Marathi and English (both speaking and drafting).
• Basi Knowledge of MS world and Excel
• Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of property, criminal, and civil law in Maharashtra.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with government officials, police authorities, and clients.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to Appearing lawyers.
• Coordinates with government agencies, police authorities, and the corporate client.

Other Requirements:

• Commitment: Must be dedicated to working full-time on legal matters for one corporate client.
• Travel: Occasional travel within Thane and Mumbai for court appearances, client meetings, and government authorities for legal coordination.
