Legal Executive

To further develop and grow this ambition we are looking for an Legal Executive.

Your Job

• To provide proactive legal support on all legal matters to Business, and different functions of the Company to help them achieve their objectives.
• To assist and support different functions of the Company in all their legal, para legal and compliance related activities.
• To be the single point of contact for all the functions of the Company regarding their day-to-day legal, para legal and License and Permit related matters.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

• To draft Agreements including Lease Deed, Employment Agreement, Service Agreement, Distribution Agreement, Supply Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and ensure their execution
• To be responsible and accountable for end-to-end management of Contract Life Cycle Management System including uploading contracts, monitoring their expiry, coordinating with user for their renewal etc.
• To prepare template-based agreements for all the functions and ensure that they are executed in collaboration with the user and in accordance with the process laid down by the Company.
• To serve as a link between internal and external parties during contract development and other stages.
• Perform research on applicable regulations and laws and update the Business Team and Senior Legal Counsel of the Company.
• Draft Affidavits, Power of Attorney, Letter of Authority and other documents required in litigation and obtaining license and permits
• Provide litigation support including monitoring the progress of litigation and Coordinating with the external counsel

Your profile

• LLB or Bachelor of Law with 2-3 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) preferably but not necessarily in Seeds Industry or agri input sector.

Employment Type

• You will be engaged on the roll of third-party manpower services provider, and your employment contract will be issued by the service provider.
