Department:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

To review and vet contracts/agreements and ensure quality checks (i.e. compliance with regulatory perceptions)
Drafting of contracts templates and review contracts related to company business
To handle legal queries independently and deal with legal and compliance vetting of documents and agreements
Liaise with external clients on agreement and contracts
Drafting of reply to legal notices, government communications, etc.
Giving legal opinion and advice on matters
Coordination with internal stakeholders
Effective risk management techniques and providing advice on legal issues

Skills & Qualification Required:

Law degree LLB, BA.LLB, BBA.LLB etc.
Minimum Experience required 2 to 8 years
Associate degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor’s degree preferred
Command over the language both from a Legal and a colloquial perspective.
Research, analysis, and interpretation of relevant legal information
Independently managing and supporting clients for routine requirements.
Effective resource management with timely reporting and updating.
Assertively making sure of task completion as per specified timelines.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Contingency planning and managing emergency situations.
Basic general and global awareness.
Acting in the best interests of Smartworks in all professional environments
