Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a Legal Business Proc Op-Matter Controller, your role will involve supporting business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. You will collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes, identify areas for improvement, develop operational procedures and controls, and participate in projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. - Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes. - Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes. - Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency. - Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practices in banking operations. - Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate degree is required. - Procurement Industry experience with knowledge of Procurement (P2P) cycle and operations. - Strong analytical skills and ability to consider wider objectives. - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint. - Experience in facing customers/clients in your current role. - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards. - Outstanding stakeholder management skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - Extensive problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach. - Ability to identify, address, and escalate key risks and issues. - Taking full ownership and accountability of tasks to completion through effective prioritization and a commitment to teamwork. - Excellent time management and personal organization skills. - A team player but self-reliant and able to work proactively. **Desirable Skills/Good to Have:** - Commerce Graduate. - Coupa & Process Unity Knowledge. - Portfolio Management experience. - Experience in reporting. - Participation in projects other than BAU.
