Job Title: Legal Assistants

Experience Required: 1–2 Years

Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Documentation & Records Management
• Maintain and organize legal documents, case files, and statutory records.
• Ensure proper filing and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Drafting & Vetting
• Draft and review legal documents, agreements, contracts, and notices.
• Provide legal opinions, replies to notices, and assist in preparing case strategies.
• Litigation & Representation
• Appear and represent the company/client before Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, DRT, and other tribunals.
• Coordinate with external counsels, law firms, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Manage case proceedings, prepare briefs, and track case updates.
• Advisory & Compliance
• Assist in identifying potential legal risks and provide timely advice.
• Support internal teams with legal queries and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mandatory enrollment with the Bar Council.
• LL.B. / B.L. (minimum qualification).
• 1–2 years of professional experience in litigation and legal advisory.
• Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Exposure to both civil and criminal litigation.
• Familiarity with Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) matters.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Compensation: As per industry standards / Negotiable
