Job Description

HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Location : Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic advisor and partner to business leaders, identifying HR priorities aligned with business goals.
Design and implement
HR interventions
that improve engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive initiatives in
talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and employee relations
.
Lead and support change management efforts in alignment with evolving business needs.
Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Champion a high-performance culture and partner in solving real-time workforce challenges across functions.
Handle complex people-related issues with
empathy, confidentiality, and sound judgment
.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

8 to 10 years of relevant HR experience with a
strong generalist foundation
.
Demonstrated ability to go beyond process execution must be a
strategic thinker
and
initiative driver
.
Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and resilient under pressure.
High
emotional intelligence
and empathy to engage with diverse teams.
Retail experience is not mandatory
, but experience working in
corporate functions or fast-paced environments
is preferred.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
