Job Description

JD - Learning & Development Manager

Responsibilities

Internal CPD Facilitation and Engagement (Miyapur and Tellapur)

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify academic and administrative professional development requirements. • Plan, maintain, and review the CPD calendar in alignment with school improvement goals. • Facilitate professional learning through discussions, workshops, peer learning, and reflective forums. • Create and curate a central repository of pedagogical and professional resources. • Provide structured, evidence-based feedback to internal trainers and facilitators.

External Training and Workshop Coordination

  • Nominate and register staff for CBSE- and Cambridge-nominated external training programmes aligned with institutional priorities. • Ensure completion, follow-up, and documentation of external training and certifications. • Collect structured reflections and evidence of impact on professional practice.

Staff Professional Development, Pathways, and Guidance

  • Engage in structured discussions with academic and administrative staff to understand professional aspirations and development needs. • Guide staff towards appropriate academic, leadership, and administrative professional development pathways. • Advise teachers on suitable courses, certifications, and internal growth opportunities aligned with aptitude and school priorities. • Support staff in integrating their professional growth within the Meru ecosystem.

New Innovations, Courses, and Professional Development Opportunities

  • Identify emerging trends, innovative practices, and relevant learning models in school education. • Recommend and introduce new courses, certifications, and professional development opportunities. • Review and evaluate the impact of newly introduced initiatives for sustained improvement.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Take regular updates from L&D Executives to ensure alignment and smooth execution of plans. • Strengthen team structures, systems, and workflows within the L&D function. • Enhance training processes, documentation, and review mechanisms to improve overall efficiency and outcomes
