Job Description

As a Learning & Development Leader at Magnum Ice Cream, your role is to establish and drive a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy to build future-ready capabilities for a multi-domain GCC of 800-1000 employees. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing a 2-3 year L&D strategy aligned to GCC growth, digital transformation, and global capability needs. You will partner with business and global stakeholders to identify skill gaps and build role-based and domain-based capability programs. Additionally, you will design, deploy, and manage Leadership Development, Manager Effectiveness, New Hire Onboarding, and Functional Academies. Your role will also involve implementing digital learning solutions including LMS/LXP, microlearning, and AI-enabled learning pathways, as well as driving learning culture initiatives such as knowledge sharing, hackathons, certifications, and internal faculty programs. You will be responsible for managing the L&D budget, external vendors, and partnerships with universities and content providers. Monitoring learning analytics, skill proficiency, adoption metrics, and business impact will be crucial, and you will be expected to lead a small team of L&D specialists/instructional designers to ensure scalable and high-quality delivery. Qualifications Required: - 12-18 years of experience in Learning & Development / Talent Development - Experience working in GCCs, technology centers, or multi-domain shared service environments - Strong expertise in designing leadership development and capability-building programs - Hands-on experience with modern digital learning platforms (LMS/LXP), content design, and learning analytics - Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and facilitation skills - Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and learning operations at scale Advantageous Qualifications: - Experience working with global teams and matrix organizations - Exposure to AI-driven learning tools, skill clouds, and capability taxonomies - Proven track record of setting up structured academies (Tech/Domain/Leadership) - Background in change management and culture-building initiatives Competencies Needed: - Strategic thinking and execution excellence - Strong communication & facilitation skills - Data-driven decision-making and storytelling - Collaboration and stakeholder influence - Innovation mindset and continuous improvement - People leadership and team development - Agility and comfort in fast-paced environments Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in HR/OD/Business preferred - Certifications in Instructional Design, Coaching, Leadership Development, or OD (e.g., Kirkpatrick, ATD, SHRM, CIPD) - Certifications in digital learning tools or platforms is a plus Join the Ice Cream team at Magnum Ice Cream and be a part of crafting the future of ice cream!
