Role Overview:
The Lead Transaction will oversee and manage a team of transaction executives responsible for gold processing, secure transfer of gold from branches to the Head Office. The role requires high levels of responsibility, integrity, and process orientation to ensure all transactions are carried out safely, accurately, and in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team & Process Management:
- Lead, train, and monitor transaction executives across regions.
- Oversee daily transaction activities, including gold processing, recording, and transfer.
- Allocate duties, set performance targets, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
2. Gold Movement & Security:
- Supervise secure transfer of gold from branches to Head Office.
- Ensure strict compliance with security protocols during handling and movement.
- Maintain real-time tracking and reporting of all gold transfers.
3. Compliance & Documentation:
- Verify accuracy of weight, purity, and transaction details.
- Ensure all movement is properly documented and reconciled with branch and HO records.
- Coordinate with Finance & Audit teams for periodic checks and reports.
4. Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with branch managers and operations heads for smooth coordination.
- Act as the escalation point for any transaction discrepancies or delays.
- Support audits, inspections, and investigations as required.
5. Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen security and efficiency.
- Motivate and mentor transaction executives to maintain discipline and integrity.
- Provide MIS reports to management on transaction volumes, discrepancies, and team performance.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Business, or relevant field.
- 4 years of experience in operations/transaction management, preferably in gold, retail, or financial services sector.
- Prior experience in managing teams handling high-value transactions.
- Knowledge of audit, security, and compliance requirements in gold/financial sector preferred.
