Role: Talent Acquisition Lead

Reporting to: Global Head HR

Description

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to lead our recruitment initiatives within the Oil & Energy industry.
  • This pivotal role requires a visionary Manager who can drive talent acquisition strategies to meet the evolving needs of our organization in a competitive marketplace.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition programs that align with our business goals and enhance our employer brand. This role will require collaboration with leadership, senior management, HR teams, and department heads to identify current and future talent needs, ensuring a robust and diverse talent pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the complexities of the Oil & Energy sector, including the importance of technical skills and cultural fit.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in the Oil & Energy sector.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify current and future hiring needs and develop a workforce planning strategy.
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize metrics and analytics to assess recruitment effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Build strong relationships with universities, industry organizations, and recruitment agencies to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Oversee the employer branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.
  • Ensure compliance with all recruitment regulations, policies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; masters degree preferred.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role within the Oil & Energy industry.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful recruitment strategies that align with business goals.

• Strong knowledge of labour market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.

• Ability to analyse data and metrics to drive decision-making and improve recruitment strategies
