Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are seeing for a talented Software QA Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in software testing a. Person will be responsible for identifying and implementing correct testing strategy and processes for multiple projects, ensuring optimized resource utilization with highest quality and work and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

• Implement right testing strategy and processes for the module/projects under testing
• Understand the requirements and ask right questions to remove ambiguities from the requirements
• • Test planning and estimations for multiple projects
• Ensure optimized test design and execution techniques are implemented in the project(s)
• Regular mentoring and feedback to junior team members
• Participate in project planning and test planning activities
• Continuous monitoring and enhance QA processes
• Identify, Raise and Track all risks to closure
• Participate in core testing activities (test design, execution, defect management) as and when required
• Regular status reporting
• Implement automation testing
• • Collaborate with other QA team, Developers, product team and other cross-functional teams
• Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software testing
• Proficiency in: o Manual Testing, o Team Lead o Test planning and Estimation o Database Validations (Cosmos DB) o API Testing o Test Design Techniques and Execution o Defect Management
• Must have lead a team of 6+ team members
• Must have experience of implementing testing strategy for multiple projects
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Defect Reporting and Tracking in tools such as JIRA, TFS
• Must have basic understanding of Automation testing and ability to identify areas that can benefit from automation
• Ability to Prepare test metrics and reports
• Experience of working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)

Nice to Have

• Hands on experience of using automation testing tools (Selenium , Playwright or any other tool).
• Experience of using JMeter or any other tool for load testing
