Job Description

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1600000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 16-25 LPA)

Min Experience: 8 yearsLocation: Coimbatore, Kochi, Namakkal, Palakkad, Tiruppur, MaduraiJobType: full-timeWe are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across modern frontend and backend technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience leading engineering initiatives in dynamic, agile environments.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
8+ years of hands-on software development experience with a focus on architecture, design, and implementation.
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Design Principles.
Proficient in C#, .NET Core, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and frontend frameworks such as React, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
Experience working with Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, and SQL Server.
Proficient programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs and external libraries.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web service architectures.
Skilled in performance tuning, debugging, and memory optimization.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing frameworks, and modern software architectural patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring frameworks, and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Jira, and Google Analytics (where applicable).
Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in fast-paced, Agile development environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and in distributed cross-functional teams.
