Job Description

At Turvo, we set high benchmarks for ourselves and you are expected to help keep it high through your analysis, design, development, and deployment activities.
Interact with designers, architects and other coders to analyze the requirements and suggest/implement possible solution options.
Maintain a high quality of the product by reviewing code and validating the use cases across dev and prod environments
You need to have a keen eye for tools and technologies that will make life easy for developers, and work on improving the tooling and automation.
You are expected to understand the latest development and engineering paradigms like Scrum/Agile/TDD/BDD/DDD etc
Investigating product issues, bottlenecks and providing reliable solutions.
Documenting component and program decisions of components owned using collaborative tools like Wiki.

Qualifications:

8-10 years of software engineering experience in developing, designing & scaling complex systems both horizontally & vertically.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related field, or relevant experience.
In-depth knowledge, experience and expertise with developing highly scalable, distributed, multi-tenant based microservices platforms using Java and Spring Framework.
Expertise in API driven platform development and integration.
Minimum 7+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Framework.
Expertise in any of the MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB/ES databases.
Good knowledge on Agile development tools, Continuous development tools such as Jenkins, Test driven development tools.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills, good communication and presentation skills.
Is a self- motivated individual, able to work independently.

Good to have:

Knowledge of cutting edge technologies such as PaaS, NoSQL, Complex Event processing.
Skills of leading a team with experience of mentoring individuals.
Experience in developing applications for the Supply-Chain domain.
