Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) – Lead Quality Assurance Engineer Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“Deloitte Tax in India”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India. We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. If the answer is “Yes,” come join Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) Job purpose: The GESTC QA Senior plays an integral role in our GESTC QA team as an individual responsible for leading quality assurance efforts across multiple technology solutions. This involves working across Global Employer Services tax products to create testing strategies to manage delivery of quality for these products. The GESTC QA Senior will work with offshore QA analysts to provide best in class quality assurance activities to create products with quality that meets or exceeds client expectations and delivers value that is aligned with the Deloitte brand. Key job responsibilities: Work with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to create QA approaches / plans for each product Hire and train qualified QA analysts, based both in the US and in USI. This includes manual and automated testers Manage and oversee quality assurance execution for each of the GESTC products per the agile testing guidelines – touch base frequently with product owners to ensure their product needs are met Work with GESTC QA leadership to design testing solutions that meet the needs of the tax products – this includes manual and automated testing, and other testing types such as performance and security testing Work with the QA analysts to consistently and constantly train and mentor them to improve their knowledge of the application functionality and underlying technology, as well as train them on the application of QA best practices in their daily work Lead Community of Practice efforts to define / improve QA standards and to ensure all product QA teams are executing to these standards. Identify and remove any blockers for the Product QA teams Closely work with QA teams, QA leadership, Dev, BAs, POs, and DevOps resources to deliver automated testing solutions Help and assist with management of vendor support resources Participate in product and QA meetings to add value from quality perspective Provide status reports to GESTC leadership and other management teams Education/Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related technical field Key skills desired <> Must have: Minimum 5+ years of experience as QA Analyst, including automated testing and 4 years as a QA Senior Experience in test management tools such as ALM, Microsoft Test Senior / ADO and Jira Experience in working with automated testing frameworks Experience in managing offshore teams Experience with traditional testing types, includes manual, automated, regression, integration, smoke, performance, and security testing Must have experience in testing custom-developed applications Must have mid-level SQL skills Must have experience working with relational databases Must have experience in developing and managing testing strategies and processes Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills (written and verbal) Quick learner, proactive individual with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment Ability to prioritize tasks and flexible to work on multiple assignments Ability to travel as needed Must be proficient with MS Office suite Good to have Prefer experience with scripting tools such as VB or Java script Prefer knowledge of web-based technologies Prefer knowledge of micro services Prefer experience with process improvement Prefer experience with creating and delivering training content #CA-GSD Recruiting tips From developing a stand out resume to putting your best foot forward in the interview, we want you to feel prepared and confident as you explore opportunities at Deloitte.
