Lead Oracle Database Administrator

About the Role

We are hiring a Lead Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle Exadata and EXACC environments (on-prem and OCI). In this role, you will handle SQL tuning, patching, disaster recovery, backups, database security, and collaborate with Platinum Support and internal teams. You’ll also support SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases in hybrid environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage Oracle Exadata/EXACC systems (on-prem & OCI)
• Perform SQL tuning, database optimization, and high-availability support
• Lead patching efforts in collaboration with Oracle Platinum Support
• Oversee backup/recovery using Veritas NetBackup
• Handle SOX compliance, database access management, and disaster recovery
• Support cross-platform DBs (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) in OCI/Azure
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage during CST hours

What You'll Need:

• 7+ years of DBA experience across Oracle and other RDBMS platforms
• Deep expertise in Oracle RAC, Active Data Guard, OEM
• Experience with Oracle Exadata X8-M+ and Oracle GoldenGate
• Strong backup/recovery and disaster recovery testing knowledge
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, DAM tools, and ITIL principles
• Scripting/automation skills and network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
