Senior Java Developer (Full Stack | Cloud | Microservices) Experience: 8+ years Location: Gurugram Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, coupled with experience in front-end technologies like React or Angular. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in building scalable, event-driven, microservices-based architectures, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based applications. Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend-for-frontend (BFF) services. Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and user experience. Work with DevOps and cloud teams to build CI/CD pipelines and deploy services on cloud platforms. Monitor and troubleshoot applications in containerized and orchestrated environments (Kubernetes). Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and event-driven patterns (e.g., Kafka, MQ). Engage in regular Agile ceremonies and iterative releases with cross-functional teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred). 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development. Strong command of Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs. Proven experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture. Proficiency in persistence technologies (MS SQL, PostgreSQL). Solid understanding of functional programming, streams, and lambdas in Java. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS DevOps. Familiarity with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Working experience with front-end development using React or Angular. Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind, and responsive web design best practices. Comfortable working with containerized applications and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, or GKE). Skilled in code and query optimization and performance tuning. Familiar with version control systems, especially git. Prior exposure to Agile development methodologies. Experience in the hospitality domain is a plus. Show more Show less
