Role Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in

Java

Spring Boot

Microservices

, and

JavaScript

, along with experience working in

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting application designs, developing high-quality software components, and contributing to solution delivery across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret application, feature, and component designs to develop solutions aligned with specifications.
Code, debug, test, and document product components and features effectively.
Communicate development progress and stages to stakeholders.
Validate results with end-users and support integration and commissioning of the overall solution.
Select and apply appropriate technical solutions, including reuse or improvement of existing components, and creation of new ones where needed.
Optimize development for efficiency, cost, and quality.
Drive customer satisfaction through high-quality deliverables and proactive engagement.
Foster employee engagement within the project team through mentorship and collaboration.
Set and review FAST (Frequently discussed, Ambitious, Specific, and Transparent) goals for self and team members, and provide constructive feedback.

Mandatory Skills

Core Java (8+ years of experience)
Spring Boot framework
Microservices architecture
JavaScript (for front-end or integration tasks)
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Code debugging and documentation skills

Good-to-Have Skills

DevOps knowledge (CI/CD pipelines, containerization)
Experience with GCP-specific tools (e.g., Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery)
RESTful API development and integration
Performance tuning and optimization
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Front-end frameworks (e.g., React or Angular)
Unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
