Role Description Job Title: Application Migration Lead – Cloud (Azure/AWS) Hiring Location: Kochi, TVM, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad Experience Range: 8+ Years Must-Have Skills Minimum of 5+ years assessing applications for migration. Understanding of different application components. Experience setting up applications on-premises and in the cloud (Azure/AWS). Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services. Basic understanding of AWS IaaS and PaaS services. Ability to create architecture diagrams for applications. Experience with discovery tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Migrate, CloudockIt). Expertise in application migration options and migration playbook creation. Ability to lead client calls and conduct interviews. Experience with Azure DevOps and creating user stories. Understanding of customer processes, infrastructure, and applications. Good-to-Have Skills Experience with: Java & frameworks (e.g., SpringBoot) Java hosting stacks (e.g., Tomcat) Front-end paradigms (e.g., Angular, React.js) REST Services Queues/event streams (e.g., Kafka) Containers & Kubernetes (e.g., Docker, Helm charts, pods, nodes, registries) Network infrastructure (e.g., Vnets, firewalls/NSGs, routes, WAFs) Network topology (e.g., Hub-Spoke) Identity & Access Management (e.g., OAuth, SAML, SiteMinder/Okta) Big Data architectures (e.g., Medallion, Lambda, Near real-time ingestion) Databricks, Hadoop, Oracle, MySQL, Document DB, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue Jobs Responsibilities Lead the application team, including Application and Database consultants per POD per BU. Oversee and coordinate Proof of Concepts (POCs) execution with App & DB Consultants. Conduct interviews, gather information, and create required artifacts for application assessment and planning. Work closely with Application & Database consultants to drive applications through the migration lifecycle. Adhere to onboarding guidelines and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date status of Azure DevOps application playbook activities. Track and update risks, issues, and blockers affecting migration activities. Resolve technical roadblocks and challenges for the team. Collaborate with customer teams to understand and streamline assessment and design phase processes.
