Job Description Position: Manager / Deputy Manager – Fire Experience Required: 8–10 Years in Fire & Safety Key Responsibilities Attend and analyze fire and emergency calls; suggest fire prevention measures through engineering controls. Act as Shift Incharge, overseeing fire safety operations during assigned shifts. Conduct joint inspections and testing of fire protection systems; review technical performance and recommend improvements for smooth operations. Ensure healthiness and regular checks of fixed fire protection systems, including: Fire Hydrant System High/Medium Velocity Water Spray Systems (HVWSS/MVWSS) Gas Flooding Systems Fire Hose Reels Prepare detailed reports and maintain records of all fire prevention inspections and activities. Conduct weekly joint health check-ups of fire water pump houses across the AMNS Hazira Complex. Identify training needs at the shop floor and conduct fire safety training programs accordingly. Carry out fire safety audits, thrust drives, and compliance monitoring to strengthen preventive systems. Inspect plant areas to identify high-risk fire-prone zones and suggest additional fire protection measures where necessary. Drive new initiatives to enhance fire safety awareness, especially during National Fire Service Week. Prepare adequacy reports for fire installations and ensure proper documentation. Impart firefighting training to plant personnel to build emergency response capabilities. Manage and administer departmental associates and ensure smooth functioning of fire & safety operations. Stay updated on legal requirements and latest trends in fire safety and implement best practices. Qualifications & Skills Graduate/Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent. 8–10 years of proven experience in industrial fire safety management. Strong knowledge of fixed fire protection systems, fire codes, and statutory requirements. Hands-on experience in fire audits, emergency response management, and compliance. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to conduct technical inspections and recommend effective preventive measures. Why Join Us?
