Lead ESG Sustainability (Diversity Position)

As the Lead of ESG/ Sustainability for the country, you will be responsible for developing the sustainability strategy and action plans aligning with ENGIE Group's purpose and wider objectives. This includes integrating ESG considerations into business processes, providing strategic oversight to ENGIE teams, and ensuring implementation of the company's Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS). Key Responsibilities: - Drive effective management of ESG risks and impacts, demonstrate leadership in responsible community investment, and promote sustainable company performance. - Implement the Group's CSR/Sustainability objectives at the Country level and ensure timely reporting. - Coordinate action plans and policy implementation, support Business lines and Corporate in achieving Net Zero and other objectives, and steer stakeholder dialogue. - Establish governance structures for integrating and reporting Sustainability requirements within ENGIE's Country position. - Guide senior management teams in providing organizational ESG guidance and process excellence to support business growth. - Coordinate with functional departments involved in Sustainability strategy, policies, and targets. - Identify CSR programs/initiatives that support in-country commitments and elevate ENGIE's position in Just Energy Transition. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/postgraduate degree in socio-economic, environmental science, sustainability, or development studies. - Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in ESG, including project management for large-scale greenfield projects. - Minimum 7 years of experience in best practice ESG standards and performance. - Proven experience in providing strategic advice on ESG at senior management level.
