Job Description:

We are looking for a Python Backend Developer who can build reliable, scalable and high-performance backend services. The role involves working with APIs, databases and cloud environments while collaborating with frontend, QA and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain backend services using Python
Build RESTful or GraphQL APIs and integrate with internal and external systems
Work with relational and NoSQL databases
Write clean, testable and efficient code
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
Implement security practices, authentication and authorization
Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD, containerization and deployments
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and sprint planning

Required Skills

Strong experience with Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask
Hands-on experience with API development and microservices
Good understanding of SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
Knowledge of message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka
Good understanding of version control systems such as Git
Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of backend design patterns

Good to Have

Experience with async frameworks such as FastAPI
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana or ELK stack
Understanding of caching strategies and distributed systems

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
