Role Overview: You have the opportunity to join Walkaroo, a leading Indian footwear brand on a transformative journey to enhance brand perception, expand Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and online sales, and become a preferred choice for customers seeking aspirational yet accessible footwear. As the Head of D2C & Online Sales, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing the D2C strategy, driving online sales growth, and establishing a strong brand presence on walkaroo.in and other online channels. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive D2C strategy for walkaroo.in to achieve exponential growth in online sales and market share. - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets for D2C performance, including revenue, conversion rates, average order value, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (LTV). - Manage the P&L for the D2C business, oversee budgets, forecast sales, and optimize profitability. - Identify growth opportunities through market trends and consumer insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless D2C operations. - Recommend new product additions for the D2C channel, focusing on aspirational design, enhanced comfort, and perceived value. - Drive innovative digital marketing campaigns across various channels to drive traffic and conversions, aligning with the brand tagline "Walk. Walk. Walk. Walk with Walkaroo". - Ensure a seamless customer experience on walkaroo.in, from browsing to post-purchase support, by establishing efficient logistics and order fulfillment processes. - Lead and develop a high-performing D2C and online sales team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field. MBA preferred. - 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, D2C, or online retail, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of scaling online sales for a consumer brand, preferably in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle. - Deep understanding of the Indian e-commerce landscape, digital marketing channels, and consumer behavior. - Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
