Job Description

As the Lead Counsel, Litigation at Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited, you will be reporting to the Senior Lead Counsel, Litigation and Distribution. Your primary responsibility will be to provide legal and litigation-related support to the business. Some key result areas include: - Drafting legal notices, responses, and communications - Reviewing, finalizing, and filing proceedings before various forums - Liaising with Advocates on Record for timely updates on legal matters - Briefing Senior Counsels and Counsels for litigations - Coordinating with departments for collating information - Keeping stakeholders informed on litigation developments - Proactively discussing legal issues and providing solutions - Assisting in strategically driving material litigations - Ensuring timely updates on matters and pleadings - Handling litigation matters and pursuing insurance claims Qualifications and Work Experience required for this role are: - Law Graduate, Master of Law (LL.M preferred) - 10-15 years of post-qualification experience - Experience in a mid to large-sized Corporate or reputable Law Firm - Critical competencies include good drafting and communication skills, quick learning ability, proactive approach, analytical skills, and being a team player Essential skills for this position are: - Adhering to principles and values - Persuading and influencing - Presenting and communicating information - Independently handling tasks with minimal supervision - Working within timelines and multitasking effectively Desirable aptitudes include: - Learning and researching - Delivering results and meeting customer expectations - Leading and supervising - Applying expertise and technology Your role as Lead Counsel, Litigation will be critical in providing legal and litigation support to Culver Max Entertainment Private Limited.
