Responsibilities:

  1. Manage CRE teams to ensure fantastic Cloud Managed Services to our customers.
  2. Plan, organize, and manage staff and overall CRE operations to ensure stability of customer's infrastructure.
  3. Implement CRE principles including but not limited to blameless PostMortem, automation, etc.
  4. Define, implement and enforce configuration management and change management policies and practices.
  5. Handle escalations and manage support from different levels. Perform tier-2 and 3 escalation support and act as the point of contact for all inquiries from other departments.
  6. Build trusted relationships by understanding Applications workloads and by being proactive in driving issue resolutions and recommendations.
  7. Map effectively with all critical application team members to avoid issues from occurring.
  8. Drive remediation of cloud performance, security, and cost issues.
  9. Facilitate regular client reviews, highlighting achievements and roadmaps.
  10. Design, build, maintain and scale monitoring services across multiple environments over cloud/on-prem deployments .
  11. Manage tools, systems and procedures to ensure dynamic management of issues and customer management.
  12. Guide our customer teams on different AWS Compute, Storage, Network, Database, and Security.
  13. Provide FinOps suggestion to optimize cloud costs.
  14. Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement; recommend prioritized enhancements and oversee implementation
  15. Ensure continual process improvement including but not limited to automation of tasks and reporting, implementation of enterprise-wide monitoring initiatives, and routine administration tasks.
  16. Hire, develop, and retain highly responsive and customer focused engineers to ensure the effective operation of the department
  17. Ensures all members of assigned technical teams are effective and fully utilized in order to provide high resource utilization.


Qualifications:

  1. Overall 7+ years of experience in managing Operations in a 24/7 environment.
  2. Preferred to have 4+ years' experience in building and managing high-performance 24/7 CRE teams.
  3. Excellent understanding of Monitor Tools : Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, aws ,azure , gcp monitor cloud tools.
  4. Excellent understanding of at least one Cloud - AWS.
  5. Good to have - Project Management Certifications.
