Qa - Job Description Job Title: Quality Analyst We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Java Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and a passion for ensuring the highest quality in software products through rigorous testing practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and Execute Test Plans: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Java applications. Automated Testing: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks. Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application meets performance standards. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Java applications Proficiency in Java programming. Junit is a mandatory Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter Knowledge of SQL and database testing Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement, and automate processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and a commitment to quality Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA
