About The Role

Lead Analyst

Risk Analytics and Ratings Review (RARR)

About The RARR Team

• Identifying and monitoring analytical and strategic risks for CRISIL businesses.
• Conducting thematic interventions to help management and the Board understand and mitigate emerging risks.
• Ensuring analytical quality assurance for CRISIL Ratings, including comprehensive reviews of methodologies, criteria, and rating processes.
  

Key Responsibilities

Risk Analysis and Strategic Initiatives

• Contribute to projects assessing strategic risks in various domains, such as Generative AI and flagship product business value.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and risk management.
  

Analytical Quality and Assurance

• Critically review credit analysis reports, methodologies, and criteria to derive insights that enhance analytical rigor and quality.
• Identify improvement areas for analytical frameworks in partnership with business teams.
  

Enterprise-wide Collaboration

• Evaluate and understand analytical processes across CRISIL group companies to ensure consistency and robustness.
• Contribute to strengthening core CRISIL IP products.
  

Executive Communication

• Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to CRISIL’s senior management and Board of Directors, ensuring nuanced insights are conveyed sharply and impartially.

• Advanced analytical skills with an ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture.
• Expertise in credit ratings, risk analysis, or business strategy.
• Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders across functions and levels.

Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm, credit rating agency, or corporate role with a focus on analytics, strategy, or risk management.
