Lawyer / Legal Advisor

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MOUs.
• Provide legal counsel on business operations, compliance, and risk management.
• Handle intellectual property filings, disputes, and trademark protection.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., IT Act, Companies Act, labor laws, data protection).
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
• Advise management on corporate policies, partnership agreements, and dispute resolution.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Liaise with external legal firms, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent); Master’s degree (LLM) preferred.
• Valid license to practice law.
• 2–5 years of experience in corporate or business law (experience in IT, e-commerce, or startup sectors is a plus).
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, compliance, and intellectual property.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
