About The Opportunity

Industry: Information Technology & Services | Sector: Web & Mobile Application Development. We build scalable, production-grade web applications and SaaS platforms for clients across e-commerce, fintech, and enterprise markets. This role is for an on-site PHP Laravel Developer based in India to join a product-focused engineering team driving high-quality back-end delivery.Primary TitlePHP Laravel DeveloperRole & Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and extend server-side features using Laravel and PHP following clean code and SOLID principles.
Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring secure, versioned, and well-documented endpoints for web and mobile clients.
Optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL to improve performance and scalability; implement Eloquent-based data access patterns.
Create and maintain unit and integration tests (PHPUnit) and participate in automated CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
Collaborate with front-end engineers, QA, and product owners to translate requirements into robust, maintainable functionality.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes while maintaining application reliability and observability.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven hands-on experience with Laravel
Strong proficiency in PHP
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Production experience with MySQL and query optimization
Version control using Git and familiarity with branching strategies
Experience with Composer and PHP package management
