Laravel Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Laravel Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality web applications, RESTful APIs, and backend services using the Laravel framework. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP, Laravel, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and related technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to deliver user-friendly features.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, email services).
• Create and manage database schemas using Eloquent ORM and Laravel migrations.
• Write clean, secure, scalable, and testable code following Laravel standards.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Maintain and update existing codebases, libraries, and tools.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborate using tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Ensure application security and data protection practices.
• Document development processes, APIs, and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end integration.
• Hands-on experience with Laravel features like Queues, Events, Jobs, Middleware, Service Providers, and Artisan commands.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js, React, or Livewire.
• Knowledge of Docker, Composer, and Laravel Forge, Telescope, or Horizon.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or DigitalOcean.
• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
