We're building scalable, high-performance applications used by thousands of learners daily. To strengthen our backend, we’re looking for a highly skilled Laravel Developer who has mastery over Laravel versions 8 through 12 and can handle enterprise-grade backend systems, deployment, and cloud scaling.
Education (Mandatory)
Candidate must hold a Master’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science/IT (e.g., MCA, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc. IT).
Training/institute-level projects will not be counted. Candidate must have worked on 5–6 real-world projects in professional environments.
Role, Skills & RequirementsLaravel & Backend Expertise
Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Laravel 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 (latest) – including all major changes, upgrades, and backward compatibility handling
Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Laravel & PHP development
Expert in RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and API versioning
Strong experience with Eloquent ORM, Query Builder, and raw SQL optimization
Ability to design & implement scalable database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Full control over Composer dependencies, Laravel versioning, and upgrade paths
Experience migrating old Laravel apps to the latest Laravel, PHP, and server stack
Proficient in Laravel packages (Passport, Sanctum, Cashier, Scout, Socialite, Horizon, Telescope, etc.)
Strong in testing practices (Unit, Feature, Dusk tests)
Hands-on with queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS) and job scheduling (Cron, Horizon)
Solid understanding of Service Container, Service Providers, Repositories, Events & Listeners
Experience with multi-tenant apps and offline-first strategies with caching layers (Redis, Memcached)
Server, Cloud & Deployment Mastery
Expert in VS Code → extensions, debugging tools, breakpoints, linting, refactoring, Git integration, productivity shortcuts
Strong knowledge of local dev environments (Valet, Sail, Homestead, Docker)
Full command over Linux/Ubuntu server management (Nginx, Apache, PHP-FPM, Supervisor, CronJobs)
Experience in live server code deployment via SSH, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Proficient in VPS & Cloud hosting (DigitalOcean, AWS EC2, Linode, GCP, Azure) setup & optimization
Knowledge of domain & SSL management (Let’s Encrypt, Cloudflare, Certbot)
Ability to handle load balancing, horizontal scaling, database replication
Experience with Dockerization & containerized deployments for Laravel
Proficient in monitoring & logging tools (Sentry, New Relic, Laravel Telescope, Horizon)
Security & Performance
Deep understanding of secure coding (SQL injection prevention, XSS, CSRF, input sanitization, encryption, hashing)
Proficiency in app-level security best practices (JWT, OAuth2, token rotation, 2FA, role-based access control)
Strong debugging, performance tuning & crash analytics expertise
Knowledge of cache strategies (Redis, Memcached, Query Caching) for high-performance apps
Collaboration & Process
Good understanding of Git/GitHub branching strategies, PR reviews, and Agile methodologies
Comfortable with client communication, requirement gathering, and progress demos
Familiarity with A/B testing, feature toggling, and user segmentation
Typing speed of 30–40 WPM (Mandatory)
Strong communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving mindset
