Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a full-time Labor Resource Manager based in Ahmedabad, responsible for planning and managing labor resources, ensuring compliance with safety and labor regulations, and maintaining records of labor performance and costs. Your daily tasks will involve overseeing recruitment and training, resolving labor issues, implementing labor management strategies, and ensuring efficient manpower utilization for construction projects. Key Responsibilities: - Recruitment and Sourcing: - Ideally, possess experience in the construction/real estate industry. - Identify and source qualified labor resources through agencies or direct hiring. - Deploy labor to project sites. - Project Planning: - Develop and implement mobilization plans for timely deployment of labor resources. - Plan, control, and minimize labor and agency attrition. - Manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines efficiently. - Logistics and Operations: - Manage logistical aspects of labor mobilization, including travel arrangements and accommodation. - Plan, execute, and monitor mobilization projects effectively. - Identify and resolve issues during the mobilization process. - Team Management: - Oversee the performance and well-being of the workforce, providing training and support. - Interact effectively with workers, supervisors, and clients. - Organize labor recreation activities. - Compliance: - Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and safety standards. - Understand and adhere to relevant legal requirements. - Cost Management: - Monitor and control labor-related costs such as wages, benefits, and expenses. - Ensure cost-effectiveness for labor deployment at sites. - Communication and Reporting: - Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on mobilization progress. - Prepare reports and maintain MIS for daily labor count. Qualification Required: - Experience in the construction or real estate industry preferred. - Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and safety standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. - Prior experience in labor recruitment, training, and compliance. - Proficiency in cost management and reporting.
