Labour Resource Manager

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall Civil Construction manpower resources; starting from identifying and sourcing as well as planning and work execution at various sections in project works.
• The candidate will ensure to identify the manpower resources in right time and sourcing in different localities/areas such as Plumbers, Scavengers, Barbenders , Civil shuttering carpenters, Massons, Cement concrete workers, brick works and plastering and also mobilize all the teams in the project works.
• Coordinating with project managers to understand manpower resource requirements
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Maintaining positive relationships with team members to understand their skills, goals, and preferences
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise the work of labourers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the availability and skill set of each resources to assign them where they will be most effective
• Allocating manpower in different type of skills in the most efficient way possible to meet project objectives
• Forecasting future manpower resources needs based on upcoming projects or business goals
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in the allocation and use of manpower resources
• Providing regular reports on manpower allocation and utilization to the Senior Management.

Requirements

• MBA or related field
• Proven experience as a Resource Manager or similar role
• Understanding of resource management principles and practices
• Knowledge of project management principles
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions
