Lab Technician for Precast Products (Concrete & GFRC)   Job in brief: Hiring for Lab Technician to join our Plant team at Jejuri MIDC, Pune District. The ideal candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with cube testing machines, slump cones, sieves, oven, weighing balance, etc. for testing for precast and GFRC(Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) products. S/He is expected to have basic understanding of admixtures and mix design principles and ability to maintain documentation and prepare reports. (Chemistry/Physics /Maths) Minimum Experience:Freshers Key Skills : —  Willing to learn IS codes related to concrete and construction materials. —  Willing to learn cube testing machines, slump cones, sieves, oven, weighing balance, etc. —  Basic understanding of admixtures and mix design principles. —  Ability to maintain documentation and prepare reports. —  Knowledge in practicing safety guidelines in handling chemicals and lab equipment. —  Team player and coordination —  Planning and organisation —  Good communication skills Responsibilities: —  Conduct routine testing of raw materials (cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, fibres) as per IS ( Bureau of Indian Standards) /ASTM (American Society of Indian Standards) standards. —  Perform quality checks on fresh and hardened concrete (slump, compressive strength, flexural strength, density, permeability). —  Maintain records of test results, calibration logs, and lab equipment upkeep. —  Support production team with mix design trials and adjustments. —  Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards for Precast Concrete and GFRC products. —  Coordinate with external labs for advanced or third-party testing if required. —  Report daily test results to the Plant Head / QA Manager.
