Job Title: Lab Assistant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support the Science Department by ensuring smooth functioning of laboratory activities. The role involves maintaining lab equipment, preparing experiments, assisting teachers and students during practical sessions, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, organize, and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science practical sessions.

Assist teachers and students during lab experiments and demonstrations.

Maintain an accurate inventory of laboratory equipment, glassware, and chemicals.

Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of laboratory materials and chemicals.

Regularly clean, sterilize, and calibrate laboratory apparatus.

Report any equipment damage, malfunction, or shortage to the Head of Department.

Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety protocols and ICSE curriculum standards.

Support in organizing science fairs, exhibitions, and academic events.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: B.Sc (Science) or Diploma in Laboratory Technology.

Experience: Prior experience as a lab assistant is preferred, but freshers are welcome.

Age Group: 21 – 35 years.

Strong understanding of laboratory practices, tools, and safety standards.

Good communication skills and ability to assist teachers and students effectively.

Proficiency in English is essential.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
